Formed in 2007, Ferriswheel is the instrumental project of Montreal’s pianist Mathieu Charbonneau (Torngat, The Luyas) and guitarist Simon Trottier (Timber Timbre). Their first album is called Woodsongs from the Backroom and was released in 2009.

Ferriswheel's latest release is called Un Peu Au Nord Et Sans Distorsion, which results in a beautiful blend of musical genres hinting classical piano, folk finger-style guitar and indie rock.
